Assistance Bags to Transition House (09/30)
With the help of UCSB’s ASFoodBank and Doctors Without Walls, we were able to create 50 assistance bags with feminine products, medical and dental supplies for the families at the Transition House! The assistance bags also had handwritten cards and small animal origamis!

IV Elementary “Beautification Day” (10/11)
What started out as a small local garden project, soon became a campus wide “Beautification Day” at IV Elementary with active members and volunteers helping to spread mulch, clean litter and tidy up the campus for the day!

NMDP “Swab Week” (10/14-16)
Partnering with the ‘National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP), we were able to gather over 150 registries of many different ethnicities and backgrounds! People on the registry have the opportunity to save a life by donating blood stem cells to those with blood cancers or blood disorders.

Box Decoration w/Medlife & SafeHomesMovement (10/31)
Alongside Santa Barbara’s Medlife and SafeHomesMovement Chapters, we created and wrapped over 15 cardboard boxes and distributed them in various centers, hubs and community venues! All toys donated in this drive will be distributed through Joey’s Toy Drive, located in the San Jose area, to less fortunate kids. We also held a philanthropy raffle, raffling various plushies and lego sets to raise money for this cause.

TLPxDEM Ornament Decorating (11/20)
Given the upcoming holidays, over 20 members from DEM and TheLegacyProject arrived to Westmont Living, Inc. to brighten up the senior homes with holiday cheers and ornament making! We had homemade gingerbread cookies, listened to festive music, and painted wooden ornaments to decorate the senior home!
